May Flowers

April showers bring May flowers. I hope that saying is true because the monsoon occurring outside my window is scary (and painful). Walking in it felt like 10 billion rocks hitting you at the same time. Not fun. I am sooo excited for May and especially warmer weather. I received this dress from my favs at Mimi Chica and it's just perfect for the weird weather right now. I paired it with my bargain half-denim, half- cotton jacket I got from... wait for it.... FOREVER 21. They basically have everything there, but cheaper and breaks wayyy easier. However, I really can't complain about this jacket. Really missing the flowers...

When in Soho... After running into (and trying to take a selfie) with the VP of Bloomies, I found my favorite brand of the moment... MinkPink. If you dont know them, well, your missing out. I absolutely love the combo of a white top and spring pants. If only it was spring weather outside... Anyways, showing some skin is always in season and the cut outs have been shifting all over. From crop tops to this funky new cut out, I am just in love! Plus these pants are super comfy.

Put A Bow On It

 Its still not spring... 48 degrees tomorrow. I am soooo confused (as is mother nature). Since spring is hopefully right around the corner, I wore a cute lil dress I received from KAS when I visited them. I love the leather pocket and the horses. I had to dress it both down and up and obviously wore my sneak of choice, my Supergas!!! Love them!! Had to mix some 90's in there... Cute and Casual.

Wish Upon a Necklace

Hey Guys! So a quick lil' post... I recently received to PERFECT necklaces from +DogearedJewelry. I found out (from my crazed friend), that I had actually owned 3 of their necklaces already. My grandma had given me each one, prior to summer, and MY BIRTHDAY. I didn't even know it, but I already had such a deep emotional connection to this company. SO many memories. And now I can keep the memories alive with my wishbone necklace. How cute?! I think I'll wear it every single day, it works with everything.

Decade Doubling

This past weekend (I got home approx. 2 hours ago), I went to NOLA and i had the best time! I was a little nervous after first walking on Bourbon Street on Saturday night, but I soon came to love it! After experiencing all the music and food I took in the awesome sense of old and new style shown in New Orleans. The streets are very old, yet the hotels are sooo new and nice!! I decided to reflect this paradox  illustrated in the NOLA culture in my own style. I received this gorg dress from Young Fabulous and Broke and paired it with a leather jacket and some rings. I thought it was interesting how my style reflects the tie -dye of the hippies and the leather jackets of the 50s (grease style). Also, I wanted to point out my ring, a present from Ecuador. How cool?!

Hypothetical question: What would you wear to the beach in the spring? I asked myself this when receiving the SOFTEST shirt everrrr from DeLacy. So this is how I answered it... well, I abviously would wear these awesome slipons that gave me some gnarly bruises (beauty is pain!) and a leather jacket, because, why not, am I right?? And then, in the spring I tend to wear cuffed jeans. So basically it just came together to be a suppperrr comfy and easy outfit perfect for not only the beach...

Sprinter?

Since its supposed to be Spring, but its 30 degrees, i'm calling this unusual season Sprinter. I, like most people, have trouble figuring out what is socially acceptable for this awkward weather. Shorts, jeans, boots, a coat?? Who knows?? I say: WEAR THEM ALL! So thats what I did. I received this AWESOME skirt from Mimi Chica and omg I am obsessed. It's so different, yet perfect. I love it! You will definitely see me rocking it all Spring. Also, time to start breaking out the leather jackets!! 1 day til spring break!!!!!!! Wahoooooooo

Summertime Sadness

What is going on with this weather? 30 and snowing... hmmmm. I think mother nature is a little confused. Clearly my head is already thinking summer. I received this romper from the amazing company, Young Fabulous and Broke, and I love it!! Everything about it screams Spring/ Summer and tie dye is a festival fav for all those going to Coachella Weekend 2 or any other festival. I also got this super amazing espadrilles from Steve Madden that I love soooo much. Especially because they are so similar to the Chanel ones, but a fraction of the price.

If you couldn't tell from the lack of amazing desert pics or from the title, I'm not at Coachella. Even though I'm not in Palm Springs in the sun, I am still channeling my inner festival / desert vibes. I received these awesome (and super high) shoes from Luichy NY and had to pair them with this DIY hat that was actually bought as a cowboy hat and turned into a floppy perfect purple hat! And what most people don't know about festivals is the key: ACCESSORIZE. I know, it must get hot under all those necklaces. I totally agree. I tried it out and loved it! Don't worry there are other festivals and always next year! Coachella 2015?
